A lawyer is a person who is learned in law and works either as
an attorney or solicitor or counsel. Through his years of training

Next we have individual lawyers. Such lawyers fight for individuals
as well as groups (if they are asked to) they can take up civil
and criminal cases depending upon their area of expertise. An individual
practitioner can have many roles as well.
· Prosecution or defense of criminals: Lawyers can fight
for plaintiffs and defendants and look to protect their clients
in various criminal cases. They are called criminal defense lawyers
and criminal prosecution lawyers in the given context.
· Carrying out will of the Testate – lawyers are given
the onus of carrying out the will of the dead in many countries.
They read the drafts, wills and also trustee’s letters.
· Carrying out Conveyancing- lawyers carry out the transfer
of deeds from one hand to another. This can be a mortgage deed or
some other real estate deed. In fact sometime ago, British lawyers
generated almost half of their income through Conveyancing.
· Sheltering intellectual property- They purvey the intellectual
properties which may include patents, industrial designs and trademarks.
· Making legal recommendations- they suggest the legal route
for all the associated problems.
Lawyers in Munich are touted as highly efficient and they are raising
the bar for their peers.
